i am a german born photographer, stylist, and educator living in the twin cities with my daughter and our two cats. we love to travel and are always open to new adventures.

while living in germany i earned my master's degree at the university of hamburg. as a professional dressmaker i worked as a wardrobe stylist for different movie productions. my first advertising job was with united airlines. i sewed a black evening dress for one of their campaigns. i still remember how nervous i was and how relieved when i saw that the dress looked beautiful. i have since worked as a freelance fashion/prop stylist in different advertising campaigns including lamborghini, bmw, t-mobile, nivea, and ikea. this has set a high aesthetic and professional standard for my work.

in 2002 my daughter was born and in 2009 we moved to wisconsin, where my focus shifted more towards photography. i like to look at photographing people as a special experience that reflects on their personality and life. building these connections with an individual is what makes an exceptional photograph.

i am a german born student photographer, daughter and second set of eyes.

my interest in photography has grown over the last couple of years — it’s hard to ignore when both your parents are photographers. i’ve grown up surrounded by art: from playing music, visiting the art museum on the weekends, and doodling on anything, even napkins.

i’m also a student at the university of minnesota - twin cities where i study psychology on the pre-medicine path, with minors in art and fashion studies.
